Its C because at this point in time when he gave his address he was talking about freeing enslaved and oppressed (communist) countries and how we are honor bound to do so because that's what the US was founded on.

The answer is letter A. We are all the direct descendants of those who fought in the American Revolution Kennedy wanted remind the Americans of what had happened in the past and how they had fought for their independence from their European colonizers.
