Due to selective breeding, there are animals with far more favorable traits. Selective breeding or better known as artificial selection is the act of breeding for either aesthetic reasons or means to survive. If I were to breed a dog I would breed it with another animal with favorable traits such as floppy ear or beautiful brown fur.
