How does the fact that Cassius has Cinna plant the letters for Brutus to read in act 1.3 show a conflict between ambition and friendship?

The summary of the scene shows that characters cannot properly interpret the situations. They just act blindly in some circumstances. Cassius believes in the danger of Caesar’s coronation, while his action itself is also dangerous. Cassius wants to use Brutus for his own advantage and confuses him with letters. However Brutus is a well-respected man, and Cassius is his brother-in-law.

Brutus is a well reputeted man, and his brother in law cassius should not be manipulating brutus to achieve his own objectives.
