Jane supplied plenty of water, minerals, sunlight, and carbon dioxide for her plant. But the plant still didn't do well. What might be the reason?

Even though Jane supplied plenty of water, minerals, sunlight and carbon dioxide to her plant, the plant will still not do well because plants do not require carbon dioxide for growth. Plants need oxygen coupled with suitable temperature, light, water, and mineral nutrients for growth.
