The NATO Agreement or the Treaty of Washington was a treaty signed by the US and some other European nations like Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Great Britain and other countries like Canada and Iceland. This treaty states the importance of collective defence and sworn to help each other in times of war. This treaty abolished the isolationist policy.
