B. The Anaconda Plan was the name of the campaign or strategic plan to control Confederacy at the beginning of the Civil War. It was suggested by the General-in-Chief Winfield Scott to put all blocks in the Southern ports. The concept was inspired by how an anaconda suffocating its victim.
