A square as four sides.
All the sides of a square are the same length
so this square has 4 sides that are each 2 inches long.
The formula for perimeter is all the sides added up.
Lets do the math:)
2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 8
So this means that...
the perimeter of the square is 8 inches.
