Annie puts $10 into a vacation jar each week and we need to find out how much will she have saved by the end of the year. To solve the problem first we have to find out how many days there are in a year and convert them into weeks.
Days in a year = 365
To find weeks divide by 7 since a week consists of 7 days.
365 ÷ 7 = 52
1 year has 52 weeks
our next step is to multiply 52 by 10.
52 x 10 = 520
By the end of the year she would have saved 520 dollars.
