n= energy efficiency pout means output and pin means input the reason this would show efficiency is because your output should be greater then your input and because depending on how small your number is after your division will tell you how efficient it is you want a big number.

Answer:

Power efficiency

Step-by-step explanation:

The power efficiency tells us how much efficient is a process, the bigger value we can obtain is 1, that means that we are not wasting energy, in real life, it is always below 1 because some energy is wasted on heat or other undesired process. that's why the output power is always lower than the input power.
