The Northwest Ordinance allowed the people to go further than the Ohio River, and when they did this, they made homes and replaced the Native Americans homes and just kicked them out, which is why the Northwest ordinance affected the Native Americans

Many Native Americans tribes fought for their land and usually lost it in time, while other Native Americans tribes accepted the Northwest Ordinance and died a sad death.
