However, this stereotype never went away and now, in today's society, we see the major backlash it caused. Because of this stereotype, police brutality against Black people is at an all time high. A lot of police claimed to have felt fearful of their life when they kill an innocent Black person. This is because the stereotype that Black people are naturally violent and aggressive is ingrained in their brains, from the police academy of their parents.
