False. Eutrophication is defined as enrichment of nutrients in any bodies of water which can lead to the the death of plants and animals. Eutrophication is not always caused by the activities of human. It is a phenomenon that happens naturally from processes in the water body. However, the activities of human increased the rate of eutrophication. One example of human activity is the use of too much fertilizers wherein the excess amount could run off to a lake or any water body near the site.
