The Renaissance was a time when human achievement was being emphasized and that is the reason why works of the Greeks and Romans were once again rediscovered and studied. Though he initially followed Galen’s methods, he would later discard his teaching and began dissecting humans and through this he was able to draw several systems of the human anatomy.
