formula.
A = 2(wl + hl + hw)
now we plug the numbers in our values (
variables
)
A = 2
(
4(8) + 5(8) + 5(4)
) simplify the values inside parenthesis
A = 2
(
32 + 40 + 20
) add values
A = 2
(
92
) multiply 92 and 2
A = 184
