The gametophytes in the flowering plants are the pollen and egg cells. The pollen are small tiny microscopic structures which performs the function of male reproductive structure in the flowering plants. These are produced by the anthers. The egg cells or ovules are the female reproductive structures these are present inside the ovary of the flower.
