Answer:

The single tree selection is one of the most common types of tree cutting in which the scattered trees of multiple age and classes and the trees whose canopies are not touching each other are harvested. While in that of group selection a small opening is created by removing adjacent trees in complement to the harvesting of scattered individual trees.
