Shakespeare's narrative poems include "The Rape of Lucrece" and "Venus and Adonis." The collective edition of his sonnets, published in 1609, contains 154 sonnets. Beauty, love and the ravages of passing time are common themes in his poetry.

"Romeo and Juliet" is an example of one of Shakespeare's tragedies, while "A Midsummer Night's Dream," is a popular comedy and "Richard III" an example of a history play. All three were written in the last decade of the 16th century. "The Tempest," written in 1611, is one of Shakespeare's romance plays. I hope that helps! :)
