Trinity bought two 6-foot long boards to make a set of shelves. If she cuts each shelf to a length of 24 inches, how many shelves can she make from those boards?

the first thing you want to do is convert the boards from feet to inches which would be 72 inches then you divide that by 24 which should equal three and then you do the same for the other board so 6 shelves in total.

The answer is 6 Because it's 12 inches in a foot and You add the two boards together gives you 12 feet 2 feet is equaled to 24 inches 6X2= 12feet
