Alrighty man, I'm gonna teach you a math.
If you're looking for perimeter, thats how long the shape is on the outside. To find the perimeter, add your base and your height and multiply it by two. For us, height is 10, and base is 2. 10+2x2= 24.
To find area, you have to multiply the base times the height. 10x2= 20
The area is 20 units squared and the perimeter is 24 units.
