2 nuumbers multiply to 8 an addd to 6
factor 8 and add teh factor pairs
1,8
2,4

8+1=9
2+4=6

numbers are 2 and 4

if you were to solve it the
xy=8
x+y=6

y=6-x
x(6-x)=8
6x-x^2=0
0=x^2-6x+8
facotr
0=(x-2)(x-4)
set each to zero
x-2=0
x=2

x-4=0
x=4

x=2 or 4 and since they are interchangable, the numbes are 2 and 4
