Why is it that many teens have a mental illness like depression or anxiety disorders, but very few have dementia or bipolar?

because some illness can come from your family genitices .

because bipolar disorder and dementia are gained illnesses (usually at a later age), while anxiety and depression can happen to anyone from past experiences or just stress.
