Answer: D - Earth is ever evolving and changing.

This idea refers the effects the biosphere, or Life, had on Earth and it's atmosphere. Evidence was found in ancient sediments and rocks that recorded changes in the atmospheric composition, due to the rise of oxygen, which is due to primitive algae and plants.
