I just answered a similar question.

When a story is told from the THIRD PERSON OMNISCIENT point of view, the narrator has full knowledge of all the characters.

Omniscient means all-knowing or all-seeing.

Third person omniscient point of view is different from third person limited point of view. In a third person limited pov, the narrator only knows everything about one character.

If the narrator has full knowledge of all characters the point of view is third person omniscient.
