One is that when Gregor dies, his family members begin new

lives as they all have careers, his father is now energized and Crete is

eligible to get married. Prior to that

was the role of Gregor in the family. He

was the breadwinner as a human who everyone depended on but when he turned into

an insect, he was now free of responsibility of supporting everyone.
