We know that 4 × 7 = 28
We also know that 8 is
2× 4. That means we can write 8×7 as 2×(4×7). We already know that
4 × 7 = 28 so 2×28 = 56

8x7=4x2x7=4x7x2=(4x7)x2
To find 8x7, multiply 4x7 by 2.
