Two fractions have the same denominator which is the greater fraction: the fraction with the greater numerator or the lesser numerator

Hi there!

If two fractions have the same denominator then the number in the numerator determines what fraction is greater. To help clarify I'll give an example.

3/10 and 8/10. Both have the same denominator however 8/10 has the greater numerator. Therefore the fraction with the greater numerator is the larger fraction.
