probability is a chance of something happening. for example, if you wrote 1-10 down and put the numbers in a hat, you have a 1 out 10 chance to pull 1.

Defenition: its just
the likelihood of something happening or being the case.
An example would be: there is a slight probablility that tomorrow it will rain, so there is a small possibility
