Why is the start codon improtant

the start codon is important because if u didnt have a start there would be a DNA mutation which would probably have side effects on humans such as not being able to speak,blindness,and just not mentally being there .....that could all happen if there wasn't a start

A start codon is important because a ribosome begins translating a sequence of RNA into amino acids.
