Solutions

a^(2) +
b^(2) =
c^(2)

10 is
a^(2) and 14 is
b^(2)

To find
c^(2) you have to add
a^(2) +
b^(2).

Calculations

10^(2) +
14^(2) =
c^(2)

10^(2) = 10 x 10

10^(2) = 100

14^(2) = 14 x 14

14^(2) = 196

Since

a^(2) +
b^(2) =
c^(2) you have to add
10^(2) and
14^(2) .

100 + 196 = 296

To find the
hypotenuse you have to square root 296.

√(269)
= 17.2

17.2 is the hypotenuse or
c^(2)
