What aspect of Martin Luther's actions is consistent with Renaissance Humanism?

Martin Luther was criticizing the financial actions of the church. The Christian humanist considered reformers of the Renaissance considered them to be Good Catholics. The Catholic Church used some basic teachings that Martin Luther condemned, but Christian humanists simply could not embrace Martin Luther. He was also using the Scientific method of research and showing interest in the secular matter. He had a great deal of self believe and though he would be able to exceed in his own potential and points of views.
