The correct answer is letter C. There will be large shortfalls in timber supplies in the long run, that's why the need to reduce its demand should start now. Trees take time to grow and they don't just sprout out of nowhere, responsible tree cutting entails responsible tree planting as to ensure that whatever was taken will be replaced.
