The correct answer is B.

A dissenter ( from Latin dissentire ' to disagree' ) is a person who disagrees in matter of opinion, belief, ideas etc.

This term was first used in describing somebody who had separated from the established church ( a state religion or an established religious body ).

Today, it is used to describe nonconformists ( rebels, objectors etc .) These are individuals who do things differently from the majority of people, not for the sake of being different and special, but because they prefer to do so. They do not conform to trends of the average person.
