Harriet Tubman She was not educated and to help her understand the common problems of slaves that she was indirectly advocating for, she had to work where they are mostly employed. With her side businesses of a laundry person and the money she got as payment for her spy service she recruited other people to aid her spy work , useful information she gave helped free alot of slaves
