1. find the price that is used to buy the fabric which by 12.5 times $4.50 is $56.25
2. then you have to find how many different dog beds she can make by doing 12.5/2.5 which is 5 different dog beds
3. then you have to multiply the amount she can sell with the price that she will sell them for by doing 5 times $17.50 which is $87.50
4. The next step is you have to find the amount that she would earn from making the dog beds which you can find by doing $87.50-$56.25=$31.25

answer: $31.25
altogether she spends... 12.5×$4.50= $56.25
in total, she makes 5 beds ( 12.5÷2.5=5)
so she makes 5×$17.50= $87.50 from selling the beds.
however, $87.50-$56.25= $31.25
