How would your graph the inequality y>2x-5

To graph inequalities, treat them first like a regular line.  So find -5 on the y-axis and put a point there.  Then, plug a few points in until you get an idea of the graph (such as (1,-3) (-1, -7) and (2, -1)).  Because your inequality is y>, used a dashed line like - - - - - - to connect the points and continue the line.  Finally, because it is y>, shade the area above your dashed line in.
