The required line is Parallel to y = 7x - 8
This means their slopes are equal
So m = 7
Now writing the equation of straight line,
[y - (-2)] = m(x - 5)
y + 2 = 7(x - 5)
y + 2 = 7x - 35
7x - y - 37 = 0
Hope This Helps You!
