phyllis schlafly and her supporters led a really succesful campaign to fight against ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. (which aimed to make every law in united states Gender Neutral)
One of her main point that she voice out against was regarding abortion. She believed that the mothers do not possess the full right in determining whether the baby should be aborted or not.
