In a case of diaper rash, a L22 ICD-10-CM code is reported for the infant, from which further diagnosis and treatment may be carried out. An updated version of the L22 was put into effect starting from the first of October, 2017. Aside from diaper rashes, L22 can also be used to diagnose diaper erythema and psoriasiform diaper rash.
