There is two types of sloth. First, the slow American mammal that hangs off the trees and then the sloth meaning laziness and lethargic or making no effort at all. The context clues is "Or doing of nothing".

The definition of "sloth" is laziness, or an unwillingness to work hard. It can also be equated to "indolence."

In terms of the context clues, the first one is the fact that "sloth" is compared to "idleness." The second one is the fact that "sloth" is compared to "the doing of nothing."
