Since the normal distribution of the weight in eggs is 1 ounce, this will be in the middle of the bell curve. The standard deviation of 1 will be between 0.9 and 1.1 ounces and about 68% of the 12 egg weights will lie between these weights if sampling were to be iterated. 2 standard deviations would be 0.8 to 1.2 and the third would be 0.7 to 1.3. So if we were to have 2 standard deviations, 95% of the egg means will lie within this interval.
