On average, how many words make up the vocabulary of a three-year-old?

A... 75-150 words
B...400-500 words
C...900-1,000 words
D... 1,500-2,000 words

Hello There!

I'm going with 400 - 500 words. This is simply because at this stage children are learning from the environment around them so they would copy vocabulary used around them. However, their use of it is still limited.
