An electron is a subatomic particle. It is charged with negative electricity and is found in all atoms acting as the primary carrier of electricity in solids. They exist in spherical shells in various radii, which can in turn represent the energy levels. As the spherical shell is larger, there is higher energy contained in the electron. The electron mass at rest is approximately 9.11 x 10 to the exponent of -31 kilograms.
