The best answers are:
A)
They brought Europeans into contact with the Middle Eastern cultures.
and
E)
People lost faith in the church and started focusing on human experience
The Renaissance brought Europeans into contact not only with Middle Eastern cultures, but the Ancient Greek and Roman texts that they had preserved and translated to Arabic. These writings helped to refuel an intellectual revival in Europe.
The Crusades also caused a challenge to a political/social order dominated by the Church, due in part to the spread of ideas which contradicted the Church, and to what many perceived as a failure of the objectives of the Crusades.
