i would say B. a map but go with whatever answer you think it is

Considering the location issue, it is recommended to describe Civil War battles via map. Indeed, graphs, diagrams and outlines could be any help for the summary or to see the end result. However, map is the best choice for the comparison of the battles and where they have taken place. In general, it is better to have full view of the situation.
