Any patient who takes Warfarin should discuss their dietary needs due to the medication. All patients who take this medicine should avoid all foods high in vitamin K while on Warfarin. They should also make sure that they eat at least 35 grams of fiber per day increase the amount of iron rich foods they consume each day.
