I would say that the correct option is D Barons. This is because they were nobles who were taxed by King John in order to use the money for the war with France. As a consequence of this war, he was forced to sign the Magna Carta.
As regards Farmers and Peasants, they were not taxed because they lacked resources and money. And the Parliament did not exist at this point in history.
