Article i, section 8 of the constitution gives congress the power to regulate foreign and interstate commerce, and this clause has been cited as the basis for passing thousands of laws. Some of the rules followed by the country are 1.To increase and support army base. 2. To initiate and maintain Navy. 3. Maintain foreign commerce among several states . 4.To regulate government of Land and Naval Forces. 5.To give the punishment counterfeiting the securities. 6.To execute the law of union for calling Militia. 7. To make rules and particular capture on Land and Water. 8. To find and punish Piracy and Felony which committed on high seas.
