Discussions of value claims are generally less emotionally laden than discussions of classification claims.

I think the statement is false. Value claims are based on tastes and morals or what is good and bad while classification claims are based on facts or definitions or the existence of something. An argument on value claims would be more emotional since this would dwell on a person’s perspectives about a matter while arguments on classification claims would simply be proving which side is telling the factual answer.
