Vanzetti's innocence during the Braintree robbery and double murder trial was supported by that evidence that: A) No witnesses claimed to see Vanzetti during the shooting. Because no witnesses could place Vanzetti at the crime it only supported his innocent. However despite this evidence Vanzetti was executed for murder because he could not prove where he was during the time of the shooting/robbery.
