Grandma Jean is preparing the turkey for Thanksgiving dinner.The turkey weighs 12 lbs and there will be a total of 18 people at sinner.If each person eats the same amount of turkey,how much turkey will each person get

You'd take the total amount of turkey and divide it by the number of people. 12/18 = 0.6666 lbs or 2/3 of a pound per person. 20 lbs per person makes no sense as we start out with only 12 (also can you imagine 18 people each eating 20 pounds of turkey for thanksgiving? That'd be kinda gross).
